Victors have released their new single ‘I’ve Been Missing You’. Few can lay claim to performing at The Jacksons’ VIP party, having their tracks played at NFL Stadiums all over America and reaching nearly 2 million Spotify streams on their first release, yet Victors have found a formula in their undeniably catchy sound that is winning people over time and time again.

‘I’ve Been Missing You’ is a pristine sweet pop number as Victors flesh out their smooth clean sound with ethereal synths and lush melodies. Laid back and easy on the ears this velvety track floats beautifully on precise warm guitars while the shimmering synths soothe the backdrop in blissful delight.With soulful vocals and infectious beat this is one mellowed passionate song. Guest vocals are provided by up and coming artist Pippa, making this creamy track take on a glittering euphoric high for the candied chorus. aLLriGhT ‘Music for Riots’

Alt-electronic collective, aLLriGhT have released their debut album ‘Music for Riots’.Hailing from London, band members MiKe and LuKe work together to perfect their skills in beat-making and remixes.

‘Music for Riots’ presents aLLriGhT’s ability to create a heavy dance infused electronic album with dazzling precision and thrilling production. From the jump, it’s clear that the details and particulars of the sound are important to these guys ‘Grasshopper’ sets the album in motion with intricate electronics, meaty beats and a dark sense of suspense that creeps behind a soundscape, evoking images of flashing lights, confusion and a body pounding wall of sound. Their riff – heavy EDM -eque sound is filled with luxurious styles and rich production techniques. Through ‘BreXit’, ‘Bee’, ‘Gazebbo Party’, ‘Get Yourself Up’ and ‘Love’ we get a mix of disco, haunting horror movie elements and dizzying alternative electronics with orchestral stabs and a few pinches of their squelching dance aesthetic. ‘Affanno’ brings us to aLLriGhT’s most chilling and eerie sound yet as ghostly keys chime and twinkle through the electronic bloops and dramatic bursts. It definitely fills you with that feeling you’re being followed down a dark alley to your demise. Slightly less ominous ‘Damned Machine’ brings us to the end of the album with its skittish beats and hyper wall of sound.

‘Music for Riots’ is an impressive collection of tracks from aLLriGhT that take you on a mind melting trip of intricate electronics and feverous soundscapes, all rendered with an amazing level of detail.

The Elephant Room ‘Juniper and Pine’

Dublin based The Elephant Room have released their new single and video ‘Juniper and Pine’.Formed in 2017, The Elephant Room is a Lo-Fi, Indie-noise band composed of Frank, Shane and Ian. Their DIY approach to their music bleeds through to their art work and videos also, with everything being done in-house to create the bizarre, noir world that is The Elephant Room.

‘Juniper and Pine’ is a dreamy indie pop number that elegantly floats upon a soft backdrop with psychedelic hues. A lulling melody drifts softly through chiming wispy soundscapes while velvety vocals coo and echo through the soft beat and jangly guitar. It’s a sweet tranquilizing track that transports you to a hazy utopia filled with laid back tones and mellowed out bliss. The intricate instrumentation is lush yet subtle on the ears creating the most soothing listening experience with some quirky wobbly electronics and distortion glimmering throughout. The track builds to a striking crescendo as the guitars shrill and crush around crashing cymbals and a hypnotic mind dazzling wall of sound. The Elephant Room superbly blend the sweet and sour beautifully as ‘Juniper and Pine’ both pacifies and electrocutes within its striking 9 minute and 31 seconds span. SAD FUNERAL ‘Gone’

SAD FUNERAL is set to release their debut single ‘Gone’ on June 7th.This psychedelic number flows like liquid gold bliss into the ears with a velvety dreamy texture as chiming guitars wobble through the prismatic floaty soundscape.With lush vocals cooing and caressing the melty smooth melody this kaleidoscopic daydream is a tight trippy bubble of delight. A soft beat taps and bounces behind a mesmerising bass line which delicately rumbles creating a hypnotic atmosphere for the wispy soundscapes to drift beautifully around. Well crafted and sublimely chill ‘Gone’ is a lava lamp of captivating psych pop.

The Bugles ‘Give up’

The Bugles have released their second single ‘Give up’.The band have played sold out shows in both Bristol and London and are set to release an EP later this year with three UK tours also in the works.

‘Give up’ is a spicy upbeat little gem from The Bugles. This cheeky number is laced in jubilant catchy guitar lines that playfully weave through the infectious bass groove while a buoyant beat keeps everything travelling at a peppy pace.It’s sing along, clap along ready and just fun to its very funky core. The punk flavour punches throughout the verses without souring the sweet and catchy hook while the chorus explodes into an energetic delight. With a whispered teasing bridge ready to evoke a live show sing along this is a golden cheery gem. One listen to this track and it will be in your head for days.

Freeda ‘Replay’

Freeda have released their new single ‘Replay’ the second single taken from their forthcoming EP set to be released towards the end of this year. Freeda are a five piece Indie Rock band from Manchester. Forming in early 2017, the band spent their first year establishing themselves in their hometown, selling out headline shows along the way and progressing to 1000+ capacity venues. In 2018 the band played shows from Manchester to Paris at iconic venues such as the O2 Ritz, Le Truskel and more, including performances at Dot 2 Dot and Cotton Clouds festivals. Working with highly acclaimed production duo Sugar House, they released their first two singles ‘Plug It In’ and ‘Go Home’ which received airplay on Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing.

Shaking up their fizzing can of luscious indie pop ‘Replay’ is an energetic blast of indie goodness by Freeda. With a buoyant rhythm, infectious bass groove and glorious guitar melodies this track spring boards in displaying the bands passionate, vibrant musicianship in all its glory. The peppy and energetic instrumentation contrasts superbly with the lyrical content which reflects on some of the difficult aspects of life. ’Replay’ is catchy and upbeat as the zest filled guitars weave and ricochet off the meaty backdrop with an elegant, light radiance while the smooth vocals surge passion and warmth into the track. It’s instantly likeable and ready for the frantic mania of a live show. Freeda have whacked out another magnificent indie banger.

Sun Mahshene ‘This Girl I Know’

After the success of their last single ‘Leave This City’, and a busy summer of festival appearances ahead. Dublin’s Sun Mahshene have released their powerful and poignant new single ‘This Girl I Know’. This is the band’s third single to be taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Contradictions and Tales of Fiction’. It was recorded at Darklands Audio, Dublin and co-produced with Daniel Doherty.

‘This Girl I Know’ wraps your ears in Sun Mahshene’s melodically rich musicianship. A psych hued shoegaze wall of sound delicately caresses the soft verses while Nathan Henderson’s vocals melt upon the sweet nostalgic melody. This track seeps deep into the brain with a fuzzy dreamy atmosphere as ethereal guitar distortion and soft rhythms whirl with heart stopping vigor while creating a marshmallow comforting effect. The melancholic tone sweetly wisps about the track as Sun Mahshene display their musical finesse effortlessly. These guys have some serious talent. Their ability to create a wholly invigorating track while showcasing tender emotion as well as  building and layering their music in intricate instrumentation is mesmerising and oh so lush on the ears. The shrills and pines on guitar are majestic as graceful keys, warm bass and subtle percussion jingles all create the intricate and utterly profound sound that is the glorious delight of Sun Mahshene’s tunes.

Lost Boys ‘Sleeping Alone’

Limerick’s emerging indie band, Lost Boys have released their new single ‘Sleeping Alone’. The band consists of Peadar Storey on Vocalist/Rhythm Guitar, Michael Meleady on Backup Vocals/Guitar, Patrick O’Donnell on Drums and Peter Corbett on Bass. Since the groups formation in November, Lost Boys have made a name for themselves across Limerick for the production quality of their tracks and their live performances.

‘Sleeping Alone’ is an ethereal, gripping number from Lost Boys that displays their mature and cultured sound beautifully. With majestic, graceful guitar lines weaving gloriously throughout,  this track has a dreamy yet chilling icy quality. The emotional vocals ooze passion and soul, filling the track with depth while lush backing harmonies and innocent sweet soundscapes create a haunting and moving quality. These guys have crafted this track superbly. The song builds with luscious, tender, waves of chiming guitar and a backbone of meaty pulsing rhythms creating tension for the hair raising crescendo. Deftly constructed and subtly embellished, Lost Boys blend rich musicianship and emotional contact meticulously to create a wholly invigorating and satisfying listen. ‘Sleeping Alone’ is an accomplished and emotive track. It is cinematic in scope showcasing Lost Boys melodic prowess.

About the track the band said : “Sleeping Alone is our attempt at describing absence after loss, paired with an overwhelming need to explain yourself. Its like a journey of self destruction you go on in order to get to the place that you need to be to accept how things are and move on.”

Dakota Avenue ‘The Island’

Manchester based Dakota Avenue have released their new single ‘The Island’. Often championed for their explosive and dynamic stage show, the trio sold over 150 tickets for their headline show at Manchester’s Night People in February following a sold-out Eagle Inn show.

‘The Island’ is a sturdy dynamic track that seeps,creeps and tingles with Dakota Avenue’s passionate musicianship. Catchy and brimming with stunning instrumentation these guys present a track that is both eerie and energetic. The verses slither in with a hypnotic guitar twinkle haunting behind Jacob Greenhalgh-Lee’s striking accented vocals while a steady beat thuds gently. The track builds to a massive expressive chorus as the guitar crashes against the buoyant, brawny rhythmic foundation. As the track reaches its crescendo it becomes slimy and creepy again as that hypnotic guitar refrain chills and slinks into the back of your mind. It’s a magnificently crafted track with the perfect push and pull effect as the lyrics complain about the corporate giants “You gotta let the bigwigs play”. through an infectious melody. There is something special about this band – keep an eye on Dakota Avenue.

Think Sanity’s Debut Self- Titled Album

Alternative rock group Think Sanity have released their debut, self-titled album.Think Sanity began as a side project, thought up by original members Trent and Andie Johnson after their previous work with Daniel Brasher in band ‘Ink Mind’. Since then, Think Sanity have grown into a solid five piece which includes the talented, Breihan (Bob) Dryden who currently drums for 80’s themed alt-rock group ‘The Sunsets’ and is former vocalist of metal band, ‘Escapist.’ Newest member Jack Vermuth joins as guitarist and bassist to complete the team. Mental Health is a topic close to their hearts, so with careful lyricism and powerful rhythm the band deliver their sound as a route to escape.

With tracks laced in powerful alternative rock Think Sanity’s debut self titled album is a mature and well crafted collection. Crashing guitars, pulverising drums and a harsh brawny wall of sound create the fundamentals for opening track ‘Mothra’ as well as throughout ‘Sad Kaiju’, ‘Surgery’, ‘Automotan’  and ‘Breaking The Panorama’ with the more emotional delicate ‘Blood Thinners & Aspirin’ creating a sublime balance. The album features refined, epic guitar moments as they pine, whine or sultry soar throughout the tracks flooding them with character. Think Sanity flesh out their neck breaking speed with the fierce ‘I’m A Liar’ as the powerful vocals blend perfectly with screaming backing vocals and a mammoth instrumental backdrop. The band present their stomping ferocity in the disco hued ‘Sludge’ while ‘Questions’ sprinkles a dash of attitude onto a metal – esque backdrop. The band pack in layers of rich musicianship through their pummeling sound while lyrically dealing with relatable, emotional and powerful themes. Each track boasts the mighty, well crafted instrumental prowess of the band without compromising on quality. ‘I’m Real, I Think’ closes the album as the band began it, dynamic and vigorous as mighty drums and bass create a mosh worthy foundation for the slick guitars to crash and ricochet off while the vocals pine and exclaim over the catchy melody. The infectious riffage through this album is an admirable quality which Think Sanity have mastered along with a tight shredding wall of sound.

Think Sanity’s debut album is impressive with layers of creativity and intelligent musicianship.
