Hallie ‘Impact’

Irish singer-songwriter and recording artist Hallie has released her new single ‘Impact’. Hallie emerged in May 2020 with her debut single ‘Familiar Place’. Since then she has released three more singles to critical acclaim, with rotation on multiple national/worldwide radio stations. Hallie has made the ‘RTE Recommends Playlist’ with all her singles to date. Hallie is an avid mental health and chronic pain advocate living with chronic illnesses. She wants to use her platform to advocate and remind others who’ve struggled that they’re never alone. She began writing poems and songs as a personal release to soothe and channel her lifelong battle with depression, anxiety and chronic pain. Hallie won the first Golden Discs Golden Busker Competition ’19 & Best Original Song in the Guinness Singing & Swinging Awards. With her Golden Disc’s prize she recorded her music professionally for the first time at The Orchard Recording Studio.

‘Impact’ is a fine display of Hallie’s emotive musicianship. The song reflects on “a past turbulent relationship, with a plea for understanding and acceptance, following a breakup without closure and wounds that never seem to heal.” Hallie expresses this perfectly as she strips back her alternative pop sound to create a raw, earnest tune that highlights the warm depth of her vocals as well as the pain and emotion within the song perfectly “you hurt me like a stranger. I took beatings from your words”. The spacious soundscape, delicate piano accompaniment and emotional sting within the lyrical content make ‘Impact’ a compelling listen from start to finish. Hallie ‘Remedy’

Irish singer/songwriter Hallie, has released her new single ‘Remedy’, the eagerly anticipated addition to her rising critically acclaimed discography. Hallie emerged in early 2019 with her debut single “Familiar Place” to critical acclaim, with rotation on multiple national radio stations. Hallie has made the ‘RTE Recommends Playlist’ with both her singles to date. Her online presence exploded, with her debut music video receiving over 100k views, and continues to steadily grow. 

Beautifully crafted, ‘Remedy’ is a melodically lush and exquisite new song from Hallie. Dealing with the topic of heartbreak and reflecting on a toxic abusive relationship, Hallie takes her poignant and emotive lyrics and spreads them over a graceful backdrop of twinkling keys and soft electronics. Over a bittersweet melody she lays bare her pain as she coos “I lost myself by giving you all of me”. The song blends bubbling ethereal electronics with wispy soundscapes to create a moving and earnest tune that cuts deep while at the same time showcasing Hallie’s poetic and expressive musicianship. ‘Remedy’ is a powerful and eloquent new single from the rising artist.

Hallie ‘Waves’

Wexford award-winning singer/songwriter Hallie has released her new single, ‘Waves.’ Hallie emerged in early 2019 with her debut single “Familiar Place” to critical acclaim with national airplay on multiple radio stations. The debut song made its way to the RTE Radio 1 Recommends Playlist and got multiple spins on Rising Time with Shay Byrne and Late Date with Cathal Murray.

Filled with rippling dark synths and emotive melodies, ‘Waves’ displays Hallie’s gripping and passionate songwriting in all its glory. This powerful alternative pop track oozes a viscous beat which slaps against a haunting electronic soundscape.

As the ghostly synths wisp about the backdrop, an ominous backing vocal creates a brooding and lamenting atmosphere that is utterly compelling. The song is dripping in lush, ethereal textures allowing Hallie’s earnest vocal delivery to highlight the sweet pop melody.
