Doctor Bua ‘Today Is Tomorrow’

Irish independent musician Doctor Bua has released his new single ‘Today Is Tomorrow’. Doctor Bua composes contemporary classical music. ‘Today Is Tomorrow’ is the fourth track of his upcoming EP release, ‘Ripples’. This single release is also accompanied by a music video filmed and directed by Tima Miroshnichenko and edited by Shane Michael Ryan.

Exuding warm sombre tones and bittersweet elements ‘Today Is Tomorrow’ is a beautiful and delicate piano-led piece laced in Doctor Bua’s expressive and emotional musicianship. The composition is inspired by the movie Groundhog Day, reflecting on the breaking of repetitive cycles which ultimately lead to either our demise or transcendence. Doctor Bua captures this theme elegantly through musical imagery aptly expressed through the artist’s charismatic and dynamic piano playing. ‘Today Is Tomorrow’ is a joy to listen to. BK Pepper ‘Alerts’

After a truly amazing reception to his debut album ‘Territories’ late last year, BK Pepper has released his single ‘Alerts’ along with a cinematic video. Dublin-based composer BK Pepper recorded his debut album in a number of locations, from Abbey Road to a converted swimming pool. The hard graft paid off with acclaim from the Irish media, international radio and blogs. Classically trained on piano and trombone, BK Pepper’s musical projects include composing for film and theatre and touring with both orchestras and rock bands.

 ‘Alerts’ is a beautiful and elegant piece of music that boasts BK Pepper’s compelling and emotive musicianship. Graceful strings drift over a rippling electronic underbelly while clean keys on piano exude an icy tone. This rich blend of orchestral grandeur and electronic expression creates a dramatic soundscape that builds wonderfully. The violin strides through warm cello refrains as BK Pepper meticulously creates a masterful body of work that is compelling, rich in texture and emotion. ‘Alerts’ is a passionate piece of music sure to stir the soul.

BK Pepper worked alongside director Hector H Romero on creating a Sci Fi battle for control of boundaries in the new cinematic video.

Greg Davies ‘Greg Davies Isolated’ Album

Greg Davies has released his latest album ‘Greg Davies Isolated’.Greg Davies saw the perfect opportunity to use his lockdown to create the album he has always wanted to release. The idea formed from a need to invite the best musicians associated with Greg himself and join him on a guitar driven, instrumental ride.Greg Davies is a rock musician based outside of Manchester UK. Greg has been playing the guitar since the age of 12 and has been performing on the UK music scene for over 20 years. Having played in a series of bands as well as doing regular session work across the UK and Europe, Greg Davies recently released an EP ‘A Different Order’ with the band ‘Elements’ which has been successful on UK rock charts. In the last 10 years Greg Davies has performed alongside some of the best guitarists & musicians the UK has to offer including Guthrie Govan, Andy James and Alex Hutchings. As well as his work as a recording artist and performer Greg Davies is a well respected music teacher and music therapist who runs a business called ‘Access Music’.

‘Greg Davies Isolated’ is a shredding guitar driven instrumental album which showcases the slick, nimble and bewitching guitar prowess of Greg Davies. Seamlessly slipping from gritty blues to funk, rock, country and even metal the album exudes swagger and energy. Pulling in some collaborators along the way it’s quite the thrill ride. The more country tangs of ‘The Birds’ Morning Sunrise’ adds a laid back smooth quality to the album while the blistering rock and blues tracks show how much of a guitar virtuoso Davies is. There is something for everyone here from the heavier metal hues between country rock twangs on ‘A Shackled Mind’, chilled atmospheric ‘Stillness’ and blazing blues between jazzy keys on ‘Get Me Out (Lockdown Blues)’ Davies provides a tantalizing, meaty album full of instrumental goodness.

PhilMi5fit ‘End of the World Song’

PhilMi5fit has released his latest single ‘End of the World Song’. PhilMi5fit has been creating music for over 15 years, always searching for something new to push his guitar playing to the next level. Citing Gary Moore, Carlos Santana and Steve Vai as his influences, his music fuses Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and virtuous guitar. Written and produced by himself, PhilMi5fit took the challenge with ‘End of the World Song’ allowing the experience to push himself as an artist. The video is a dreamy nostalgic raw vision of the sensation that the sound is supposed to look like, a visual representation of the tornado of emotions that inspired the creative process for this song.

‘End of the World Song’ is a blistering acute instrumental track bursting with kinetic energy and nimble guitar work. The song ventures from shredding raw riffs to swift, slick licks and gritty solos as PhilMi5fit pivots the track around his guitar prowess. Matthew S ‘Waves on the Moon’

Hailing from Vicenza, Italy, Electronic artist Matthew S has just released his latest single ‘Waves on the Moon’, his first release since his debut album last year.

‘Waves on the Moon’ is a twinkling electronic number that drifts and elegantly floats upon soft soundscapes and magical tones. A soft graceful key progression wanders and glides with a sweet light melody over the rippling electronics creating a wonderful sense of innocence and purity. The fluttering bloop and bleep add a futuristic feel to the track however that magnificent and majestic piano brings the track to a dreamy state of bliss that is moving and utterly relaxing. ‘Waves on the Moon’ is an elegant and enchanting track as Matthew S transports the listener into an ethereal daydream of euphoria.

Orla Clarke ‘breathe’

Meath eighteen year old independent musician/producer Orla Clarke has released her new single ‘breathe’. This twinkling number is an aerial dream of soft electronics and glistening soundscapes which float delicately around a pop sprinkled backdrop. A sweet toned guitar sparkles, radiating luminosity into the track as the piano jingles along with joyful light hops. The fuzzy synths lead beautifully into the techno hued elements as the dreamy track swirls around your ears with a charming feathery light innocence and delightful bounce. It’s a sun kissed number that showcases the luscious arrangements Orla Clarke is capable of creating.
